[V8Vairs] RE: Corvair Transaxle

Hi All, 
 
I was wondering if anyone has any experience running the Corvair Transaxle 
upside down?  I am thinking of positioning the transaxle in the same location as 
a Kelmark set up but flipping it upside down in order to run on the correct 
side of the ring gear.  I am seeking any information or thoughts on this set 
up, eager to hear input.
