??? I think this has already been done by Bob Coffin. He has fabricated a bushing for the old style input gear to the crown main shaft.
??? I still don't think that it relieves the owner or mechanic of the responsibility of making sure the bell housing is centered on the engine.

I have always heard of the "Fragility" of the shaft to shaft needle
bearings in the Crown set-up. COuld this be designed out? - Seth Emerson
