Check with the individual manufacturers. Most recommend that they are
designed for drag racing applications. I looked at this (and still am) as an
option for my Crown conversion, but I was not satisfied with the flow rate
as compared to the belt driven pump. Believe me, I would love to dispense
with the water pump on the front of my V8, but am not interested in going to
a 35 GPM pump when my factory pump flows about 100GPM.
There is one remote electric that mounts on the radiator that gave about a
70GPM flow rate that I am considering, but I've got transmission problems
that have taken priority.
