[V8Vairs] RE: Front V8 Springs?

I haven't had time to research it yet, but what is the difference
between 
V8 springs, stock heavy duty springs, and standard Corsa springs?

I have different springs in my two V8's and my Corsa.

Don't bother giving me spring rates, as I have no way to measure.
I can, however, measure wire diameter with a caliper and count coils.
