[V8Vairs] Rack and Pinion

I was wondering if there is anyone here who has installed a manual rack and 
pinion and could possibly tell me which rack is the most adaptable and fits the 
Corvair's upper and lower control arm geometry.  My gas tank is not in so the 
steering column linkage should not create too much of a problem as I am 
considering a fuel cell or a Mustang gas tank.
