We are lucky!   A standard placement radiator [ short runs]  without a 
T-Stat...and the water moves too fast over 3000 rpm........overheat time....

My car with 1  elec. fan...no ducting..just cut inner fender panels.....cools 
nicely.....but does reach 205  in hot  stop and go....but cools as soon as 
you move..

Just a 70's  crossflow in it....2 core!  but large....truck?

Remember  if you go to 4 cores..you need the highest power fan[s] 
avaialable.....resistance to airflow!!
