That's an excellent point. I didn't check to see whether the AM/FM radio was
also available via the dealer, for those who might have decided later (or
bought a car off the lot) with just an AM radio from the factory.

Actually, it was presumed that the issue of the antenna/radio match was
already settled, since the multiplex was only applicable to the AM/FM
radio. Hence no need to mention the antenna.
Also FWIW, the multiplex was always a dealer-installed item.
