Below the photos and the explaining text is a link to ebay. The car is offered at auction through ebay and, as of this writing, the high bid is $5,000, with just under nine days until the end of the auction. 



The vin for the car is 20927O101377. The vin breaks down as 2 = 1962; 09 = 900 series (only Spyder was above it); 27 = coupe; O = built in Oakland, CA (that’s an “O”, not a zero); 101377 = the 1,377 th built (numbering began at 100000). 















This vehicle was donated to the Colorado State Patrol Family Foundation by a private citizen in an effort to support the surviving spouse and infant child of fallen Colorado State Trooper Jaime Jursevics. Trooper Jursevics was struck and killed by a drunk driver on Sunday, November 15, 2015, on interstate highway I-25, south of Castle Rock, CO. All net-proceeds of the sale of this item will go to support the Jursevics' family. This vehicle was appraised by WD Equipment, LLC (dealer number 38425), within which it was noted: "This vehicle looks to be totally restored. New paint, new engine, interior is flawless with all components in working order. Drive train is solid and the vehicle shifts smoothly. Wheels and tires are new, with the outside not showing any scratches, dings or missing/broken parts. This vehicle has 50,066 miles on the odometer and was appraised at $18,000. This is not a number matching vehicle and is titled in the Family Foundation’s name. Buyer must arrange and pay for shipping/delivery .
