Hi Everyone,

I received a call and the following email from Rick Holland today. He met several of our members at the Castle Rock Cruise In. Rick built and owns an experimental plane with a Corvair engine in it. He has invited our club members to his EAA meeting being held on Thursday, July 19th, at 6:00 pm, at the Meadowlake Airport in Falcon fr a BBQ dinner and then a tech meeting. The tech meeting is on how to build a Corvair engine for an airplane. I think this would be very interesting and a fun opportunity to see an Corvair mounted airplane engine. The links below explain the EAA club, a map to the meeting location, and photos of Rick building his plane.

If you are interested in attending this special meeting at a guest of the EAA, please RSVP to me if you plan to attend and how many from your family will attend by this Friday night, the 13th. I need to give them a very close count of our membership who plan to attend so they can buy food.

Keep Vairin'.......even if its flying!!

Chris

---------- Forwarded message ----------
From: Rick Holland <at7000ft@gmail.com>
Date: Mon, Jul 9, 2018 at 1:36 PM
Subject: Corvair aircraft conversion EAA Chapter 72 Meeting
To: ckimberly4749@gmail.com

Hello Chris

Nice talking with you about the EAA Chapter 72 Corvair aircraft conversion meeting Thursday July 19.
