Subject: Classic Rock Cruise In Car Show Announcement - June 17, 2023

 The 15th Annual Classic Rock Cruise In Car Show will be Saturday June 17th, from 10am to 3pm in historic Downtown Castle Rock, Colorado. This is a family friendly event that is free to the public and brings in over 8,000 spectators yearly. The streets are closed for this event that includes live bands, food trucks, free kid activities, lots of shade, and over 300 cars, trucks and specialty vehicles with a total value in excess of $10 million. Check out the attached car show flyer and registration form.
 
“Register Early to Avoid Disappointment”
Pre-registration opened on April 15, 2023 at 9am.  Due to the limitation of 330 car spaces and the popularity of this car show, the show normally sells out in less than 3 weeks from the pre-registration opening date.  If you plan to mail the registration form, recommend you check the Vintage Car Club website before mailing the form as a notice will be posted when the car show sells out.
 
"TWO WAYS TO REGISTER" - (one registration form per registered car)
    *  By Mail – print and complete the attached registration form and mail it with your $35 pre-registration fee (cash or check only) to Vintage Car Club, PO Box 1711, Castle Rock, CO 80104.
    * Online – go to the website at classicrockcruisein.com and enter your information and use your own personal credit card to pay the $35 pre-registration entry fee over our secure PayPal system.  THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT TO HAVE A PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO REGISTER ONLINE.  We use PayPal to process the transaction, but you can use your personal VISA or MasterCard to pay your registration fee. No credit card information is shown to Club personnel.
Once you register a car, we will send you an email with your entry number and map to the staging area.
 
“Trophies Sponsored by Garage Condos and Wheel Pros”
Over 60 trophies will be awarded in 25 categories that includes 19 different class awards (shown on the registration form) and 6 individual awards that include a survivor award (model year car 50 years old and older), long distance traveled award (no repeat winners), Castle Rock’s Mayor’s Choice, Hottest Car (picked by the Fire Chief), Most Likely to Get Pulled Over (picked by the Police Chief), and Best of Show (picked by the VCC President and Committee).  Class trophy winners are chosen by a panel of trained judges.  All eligible participants will receive a car show information packet that includes a window card, dash plaque, welcome letter, awards information, and one drawing ticket for a chance to win a set of 4 wheels donated by Wheel Pros.  VCC Members are not eligible for the giveaway.
 
“Scholarship and Charities”
Your entry fee this year will help fund the VCC Charity Program that includes financial assistance to the following:
    * $5,000.00 - VCC Student Automotive Technology Scholarship
    * $1,000.00 - Castle Rock Police Officers Foundation
    * $1,000.00 - Douglas County Fallen Officers Foundation
    * $1,000.00 - Help & Hope Center
    * $1,000.00 - Sky Cliff Center
    * $1,000.00 - The Mane Mission
