Hi all.  After we were unable to attend the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. I sent a short note of apology to the organizer, so she knew we didn’t just ‘ghost’ them.  Please see her response below – looks like we’ll be up for this parade again in 2025.

Thanks for the email.  I do understand the weather concerns.  Car clubs have done that before so no worries.
 
  
 
We will invite you back in the future.  We have several car clubs who always want to be in the St. Pat’s Parade, so we have put all car clubs on an “every other year” rotation.  So that means you will be off next year, and back in 2025.

I’m writing on behalf of the Pike’s Peak Corvair Club.  I wanted to apologize for entering this year’s parade and then not attending.  Unfortunately, the only members who were planning to participate were all coming from Castle Rock and parts North as far as Broomfield.  As we watched the weather forecast for parade day, we were concerned that all week the forecast was calling for an 80% chance of a rain/snow mix, which doesn’t mix well with classic cars and a trip over Monument.
 
  
 
We are so happy we were invited and that we were able to provide our entry registration fee.  We’re certain the fee is going to a good cause, and we are pleased to be able to participate.  If you would allow us to try again next year, please let me know.
