Ok Corvair Lovers, 

Time to take over another Colorado Car Show!! 

The PPCC has had a significant, and deliberate presence at the Florence Car Show for the past three years. This is a fun event which gets bigger each year, but no so big that it's not a family friendly, small town event. Last year, I had the good fortune of having my '67 Sport Sedan in a position of honor, right in front of the main staging area, along with the car being printed on the back of the car show T-shirt. 

And that's not all; for the past couple years, we've had a Club member finish tops in the Valve Cover Race competition. Congrats both John and Dee Glusick!! 

But wait, there's more!! This year, we'll have another Corvair in that position of honor as Chris Kimberly's '64 Monza Convertible will not only be right there up front on Main Street, but her car will grace the FRONT of the car show shirt!! Congrats Chris. 

Attached is the picture they have posted on the event website, which is way cool to see a Corvair there instead of your dime-a-dozen Mustang or Camaro. 

I just completed registering my three cars for the show ('67 Sedan, '60 Coupe, and my new '62 Monza Wagon (yes it will be ready)), so get registered (the link is below), and let's take over the show with Corvairs. 

Sidenote: You guys with those non-running Rampsides (you know who you are), get off your duffs and get them going this Spring. We want to see some rear engine representation in the pickup competition :)
