If your coming from the north (Darrin & Mike), I suggest the GW Parkway thru Old Town, then R onto Beacon Hill Road.

>From points west (pretty much everyone else), take the Fairfax Co Parkway which turns into the Springfield Parkway, thru Kingstowne until you have to turn L or R, then either L on Van Dorn over to a R onto Franconia Road, or R onto Van Dorn then L again to Telegraph, bear R at the fork in the road onto South Kings Highway, then R onto Memorial.

I know the Beltway can be a tough row to hoe @ 5 - 5:30; however, I'm not too sure in the 6 - 6:30 time frame.
