[FC] Stock Is

Hello All,
I understand that Larry Claypool did a series of articles called "Stock Is".
I was wondering if anyone has done the same thing for our FC's.
For example, should the defroster vents be painted the color of the dash? Left the natural plastic color? What color are the screws that hold them in place?Would it be different if the FC is a deluxe or not.

Just curious.....
