Have you tried Tractor Supply? I go to farm and tractor supply houses for many of my "hardware" needs for the cars I do. You can also try an industrial supply house like Graingers. You can also just rebuild one yourself, that's what I've done. May take a little longer then just forking out the big bucks for a piece of crap. Dave Feasel

This is the return of the ever often 95 tailgate latch replacement. I bought I nice new shiny one from a replica supplier near here and in less than a year, the circular spring broke AGAIN. Does anyone out there have a crappy rusty one with the spring in tact that I can buy versus the high priced reproductions available but obviously BAD quality as far as the springs. I can't seem to find the springs at any hardware stores or online.
