My 61 Rampside has levers at the pedal and cable coming through the firewall to carb levers. It is sloppy if you pushed the pedal too quckly off a stop killing engine so i fooled with tightening cable and getting new pedal and moving it a bit so it snapped into ball at driver floor mire squarely. Mine had holes all over the floor like predecessors bought wrong pedals and moved them around
