Hi Brad and welcome,
Couple of things. There is a guy in the Denver area Steve whose shop is Rear
Engine Specialists, in Golden CO, who is a Corvair expert with a gazillion
years experience. Phone is 303 278 4889. His email is above. He has a web
site, too.
There are a couple of ways to go to find archives. One is the Corvair Center
has a Phorum which has threads that one can look up info.
CORSA, Corvair Society of America funds many of the sites and has a website
that has an archives of virtual vairs info. Yes, a question and possible or
many solutions are existent and available. Really worth it to join CORSA.
Gets you in touch with a whole lot of us who have been playing with these
things forever. Strongly suggest it.
Finally, ask away and someone will probably direct you to a place to find
answers.
