Wonder if Craig is going to share those tips publicly -- they sound like 
info we all could use.

I recently had to deal with something perhaps similar with a custom 
column and stock wheel in a 56 Chevy -- the mechanisms are quite 
similar, but I'm thinking the repop horn ring wasn't quite "right" and 
wound up removing material from two of the three plastic mounting "legs".
