Look down the throat of the carbs and move the throttle. Do you see a couple
of good streams of gas from the accelerator pump? If not you need to find out
why. If it's weak, you'll need to pump it several times to get enough gas down
there to start it. Maybe a bad pump seal or adjustment. If you're getting a good
shot of fuel from the accelerator pumps then you shouldn't need to pour gas into
it to start it. Are you putting the gas pedal to the floor once to set the
choke? Are the choke plates closing?
With it occurring after a few days, it sounds like the carbs may be empty of
fuel. Your electric pump should be repriming them though. Let us know if you
have the squirts of gas from the accelerator pumps when you move the throttle
linkage.
