[FC] backup lamp question

This query is for any of you who have installed backup lights in their FC. I have the lamps ready to install and have wires attached to the backup switch.(P.O. had installed a car transmission). Where did you attach the hot lead coming into the B-up switch?Thanks,Tim W '61 rampy 140 4 spd.
