The 51R has a lot more power than the old 53 battery and is the best choice
for your 'Brier. The reason for the 'R' is reversed plus/minus which is
what you want for the 'Briers, P/Us (and early cars). Autozone Gold top is
one of the highest rated batteries by Consumer Reports and is all I use with
excellent results. Bruce
