JR, yer slipping -- used to be one needed to service the battery, check 
the water, clean the terminals on a regular basis, not to mention 
periodic replacement of said battery (like every two or three years) -- 
if'n yers stays open 'cause that iron oxide isn't a good hinge lube, try 
using some of that new fangled synthetic oily stuff.
