[FC] Powerglide Question (I think)

i took apart a rampy powerglide with no symptoms that had a drive plate /  
flex plae whatever you want to call it , cracked between all but one bolt , 
rust  around the crack , that ran great , no noises or vibrations.
 
without seeing this , i bet on a running problem , probably minor , causing 
 his symptoms. if mice did not fill upper shrouds and chew plug wires , 
maybe  just a plug or vac leak. last one i had that felt bad , was a bent 
(slightly!)  generator pulley. the guy put a new flywheel and clutch in it with 
no changes ,  then it was my turn to find it.
i guess it will be fun to know the outcome..
