This is for the dropped spindle adaptation -- there are disc brake
conversions that will bolt onto a stock FC spindle (all probably do not
fit stock FC wheels) -- BUT, although I know Joel reamed his lower taper
to fit, and I'm sure he did so with good reason, I have been under the
impression for many years that all GM (and many other) spherical joints
have the same taper -- why would FC lower ball joints be different? --
length of the stud perhaps, requiring a deeper hole?
I find the Hollander info interesting, but without knowing why they
don't interchange, it is not a big deal -- a little experience with
Hollander will explain. If they say it will fit, it will fit,
"exactly", as in it is an identical part -- when they say it isn't an
interchange, maybe it will fit, but have a different casting number ...
