The only real way to control that bounce, or lack there of, because the front springs are way to stiff is to make a spring change. The only way to make a real change in how the front behaves is to change the springs and shocks as a kit. Doing this will lower the front of the van and also make it ride like a Cadillac. On bumps where you used to hit your head on the ceiling you will now think to yourself, what was that?
OH, cutting the original springs will only make the front stiffer and worse on bumps.

and back better then going to local auto parts store and buying updated
shocks like KYB or Gabriel from clarks! Need Input thks..."
In an effort to control the front, "Bouncy, Bouncy" of my Greenbrier, I
tried several types of "heavy duty" shocks. NOTHING would control the front
end. I was considering cutting the springs, but took one last stab at
another set of shocks. I "bit the "bullet" and anted up the $$$ for Koni shocks
from Clark's. With the Konis set on their firmest setting, the van now takes
big bumps and dips like a "regular" vehicle. The rear has never been an
issue; there, I'm using a run-of-the-mill, non-adjustable, "heavy duty"
shock.
