Tim, you are not alone out there -- if you Google - alt warning glows - 
you get about 7.5M hits in all makes and models.

Trying - alternator warning glows GM - gets the count down to about 
40,000, even more info than you will get on this list.  If you are after

Never did hear back if you tried tightening up your alternator belt for 
less slippage.
