[FC] stuck jets

Set the carb base on a solid surface such as an anvil or the back of a vice.
Put a cheap screwdriver in the jet slot and hit it hard with a hammer a few
times and the jet will screw right out.

Any tips to remove main jets that are stuck  tight?
 
I think part of my stalling and stuttering  problem when I first give it 
gas are the 52 jets the P/O stuck in there. Seems a  little excessive for an

80hp motor.
