What did you replace in the ignition? You said mostly new but did you go from points to Pertronics? Even if you changed just points you need to re-check the timing.

Hi all-
I got the Rampside running again- with mostly new ignition- it is still 
 bit sluggish in second gear (kind of spits and sputters) and sometimes 
esitates and very lightly backfires when changing gears. Also idles 
retty slow and "wants" to stall when it is sitting and running. I am 
ondering if I moved the distributor at all when replacing all the 
gnition the parts.
I am going to look at resetting the timing a bit- I am also thinking it 
ill need carb work in the future.
