The numberles blocks are few but I have a couple here. They are later universal blocks, they will do FC and a car, early or late.

Interesting. I had never seen a block without a code stamped into it.
Until last weekend that is, when I saw a short stroke FC block with only the
first half of the code stamped into it. And now you've got one as well.
Interesting.
As much as we'd like to, we can't save them all. Think of it as organ
donation!
Don't forget to save the steering box and boomerang arm!

Joel

Hello group, I thought I'd let you know that soon there will be one less
Rampside in the world.
I hate that it has come to this, but the poor guy is pretty much unsaveable.
The outside looks fairly good but the floors and frame are rusted to pretty
much powder. I'm afraid to stand in the bed for fear of falling through.
Most of the parts I take off it will go to my white Rampside.
In case there's someone keeping a database of FC information I'll describe
this truck a little. It's Gumby Green, code 703A and has standard trim. It
is heater delete. I'm certain it did not have a white stripe. The interior
is a brownish/greyish/silverish color, like most other Rampsides I've seen,
and the black/grey checkered seat. Maybe the brownish is just dirt. It's a
61.
What's funny is its serial number is less than 150 away from my white truck.
So unless the white truck was a late-in-the-day production they were both
built on the same day. I got the white truck from a man in Illinois who got
it from Arizona, and the green truck came from South Carolina. Green truck
VIN 1R124S124646 I plan on rebuilding the engine and trans so I can have a
correct truck engine to replace the car engine that's in the white truck
now. The green truck's engine doesn't have a code stamped on the case
besides the fuel pump. Different for trucks maybe?
It struck me as I was removing parts the other day, that the last time these
bolts were touched was in 1961 when they were being installed. Makes me
feel like a time traveler.
