Just went to look at it...pix attached...fair, but weathered, condition and not

a true rampy camper shell, rather a flattop bed cap w/ side door where rampy

ramp is located - looks more like it was meant for a full-size PU truck, but

that doesn't explain side door...measurements are 72.5" wide x 107" long x 25"

tall...there's also a 3 3/4" wide wooden side rail located on the underside

running length of sides.



Anyone interested can contact seller, john, direct (cc'ed above, phone #

below)...nice fella and just wants to give the thing to someone who can use it.

I have been in contact with this gentleman, as I would be interested in

  an original steel GemTop camper shell, and this one is similar, but

probably a wood framed, paneled interior, aluminum skinned unit, but

apparently a nice Rampside bed topper and not one of the Rampside "campers".

I have joined this group to try to find someone nearby (Santa Ana, CA)

that can use a camper shell that fits a Rampside---FREE!! I have been

storing it for a man back east, but he is unable to get it shipped that

far. It is in good condition--but must be moved in 1 week. It is free,

but you must pick up and bring help. Health only allows me to watch. It

is on Craigs List but the response has not been from Corvair people.

These are rare and I prefer a Corvair person to have it, if possible.
