[FC] traced power drain to...

I traced down an ongoing power drain to the "F" connection from the voltage  
regulator. This drain occurs if the field relay points are closed OR open. The 
 voltage regulator is of the "saver" model offered from Clarks, as far as I 
can  tell. The engine is equipped with an alternator that tests OK per the 
Chilton's  tune up and repair guide for Corvairs (resistance one way but not so 
much the  other way).
