of and by itself, no. Assumed that you are not talking about steel on
steel, just evenly worn out, which is what brakes are designed to do.

Jim, respectfuly, you need to visually inspect all four sets of brake
shoes, cylinders, hardware, etc -- this one at a time thing will get you
in trouble. Replace brake shoes in full axle sets only, both sides at
the same time (same for hardware) -- they need to be the same, side to
side, as perhaps you've noticed. Until *all* the under the drum parts of
your brakes are *known* to be good and in proper adjustment, you
probably won't be able to find the desired "cure". Your pulling
problem may or may not be related to the work you did on the right rear.
Generally, "really pulling hard to the left [or right]" is most
frequently caused by something on the front axle.
