[FC] Gen/Fan Blinker

Hello-

Wednesday when driving to work my Gen/Fan indicator light came on briefly, then went off...then came on again a few hundred feet later, then off, and so forth. This happened about five times total. I was driving 55 MPH.

I had the alternator checked...all is well, and all is charging. Could my belt be too loose and hence the intermittent indicator light activity when it deflects and loosens around the alternator pulley? It is just a bit looser than I usually run it, and could stand to be adjusted. The reason I ask if this simple explanation could possibly be correct is because this has never happened to me in fourteen years of FC ownership...
