Jon,
I saw one on eBay a day or two ago which I think is the one you are talking
about. Is it is the one which is partially apart - with a missing tail
light? I did not pay particular heed as I'm not really in the market, But,
I WILL say that there is nothing like personal inspection. I looked for TWO
YEARS before I bought mine. Drove all the way from Chicago to Maryland
(near DC) over a weekend to look at a pile of rust on one occasion. The
passenger side frame rail was non-existent.
The one on eBay has a pile of parts next to it. In that pile is supposed to
be the ramp. There is no clear shots of the ramp. I must tell you, those
ramps are VERY hard to find in decent shape. Also, when looking at a pile,
there is no way to tell if everything is there.
I'm not going to say bid or don't bid or even how much. $1500 seems a bit
high to me to start with. Sometimes those eBay auctions don't heat up until
the last few minutes. So, if you plan to make a bid get ALL the info
possible (write the seller with your list of questions - find someone that
can look at it in person if you can't) and then decide your max.
