Not so. The gear ratios of the 64/65 FC trans are different from the 64/65
car trans. See the '64 factory manual for the details.

Also, the '65 FC trans (3.65 low gear) that I recently acquired from Bob
Galli had a backup light switch, so that criteria may or may not apply.
