No, you add half. If you use the same backspace, then the extra 2"
of wheel width will go on the outside.
A 16 should clear the tie rod ok, adding 1" to the backspace would
keep the wheel centered. However, if you look at an FC with wide
tires, there really is more space on the inside than the outside.
I'd suggest an extra 1.5".
