[FC] Starter issues

my input on the starter is:  check the little pin that the solenoid plunger 
hits when all the way in for binding.it may be making electrical contacts hit 
too soon or limiting travel of the gear.  the real way is to rep;lace the 
solenoid and try it?some pins are plastic , some are metal..it has to be able to go 
all the way back in the hole , not hang up.
