Bill,
Make me a set - for our mobile dumpster aka "the rotten rampside".

I have found some specialized reflective material - DOT approved yet that
stands up well to sunlight in SoCal.
I want an attractive OE appearing metal (?) base to attach it to.

Cheap and easy version can be made from 1/8" Plexiglas or lexan, with red  
reflective tape mounted on the inside (facing out). Edges can be left plain
or  covered in windlace or possibly door edging; if you heat it up enough to
bend around the corners.
