[FC] Do FCs have windlace around the driver and pass door openings?

When I ordered some more goodies, Lon wondered when I requested windlace  for 
my GB.... and then I tried to remember what came out.... so the question is:  
was it just the rubber weather strip that covered the seam, or was there also 
a  windlace cap to trap the weatherstrip in  place?

    The GB just glue's the weather strip to the body  flange. The trim strip 
over the wheel hump protects the seal from damage as you  get in and out.
    If you want a later style replacement get a door seal  for a later model 
Chevy PU. The seal has the wire retainer and sealer so when  you push it over 
the pinch weld, the seal is sealed! This is just slightly  thicker than the FC 
door seal so you will have to readjust the door so it will  close.
