i would start looking at the coupling hose between filler and tank , or i
have seen the vent tube leaking where it is brazed to the filler. if either hose
is leaking you should be able to see it under the drivers fenderwell. i had
one that the filler tube was installed with hoses about 1 inch too long that
siphoned a small amount of gas out the filler opening with a stock cap becausde
it stuck out too far from the fender. the fix was a locking cap with better
seal (spring loaded). is there gas showing on the fender after driving it?(with
tank full) also check rubber lines at the tank (by rear of tank) and the
engine compartment under truck.
