Rad Davis said the crossmember is the same as a car. NOPE!!!
The tread width of an FC is wider than a car. The horse collar main
suspension crossmember is wider and therefore the transmission mount is
wider than a car. The A-arms are the same. On a car, the line thru the
A-arm pivot points intersects the center of the U-joint, where on an FC it
doesn't. This is why you must use the "articulated" rear axle bearings on
an FC, but might not have to on a car. FC axles are also longer than a car.
