[FC] Timing for a 4 Speed Conversion

i do not believe the distributor is a problem.  at best going from automatic 
to 4 spd is going to run just fine with no changes, in fact i did it a few 
times or put automatic engines in 4 spd cars with no changes and liked it better. 
 smother low end pull very noticeable in 64's up. i would not change 
anything, just fix what is wrong.  plug wires?  plugs? fuel feed?resync carbs? adjust 
linkage between trans and carbs? just check everything carefully. a 4spd 
engine against a powerglide might need tweaking to get low end pull better but the 
other way runs great, done it many times over the years makeing a darn nice
