[FC] thermostat damper door

Hey Everybody,

Happy almost spring.

Just had the Brier out for a little spin since it was
a nice day, about 45 degrees. Drove around for just
about 15 minutes and stopped to get some gas, I
noticed that the right thermostat damper door had
closed but the left was still open. It did not shut at
all during this brief run...
any suggestions? Looked it up in the Corvair Basics
book and they said a permanently open damper door is a
sign of a bad thermostat.
