[FC] Single arm mirror placement on Greenbrier...?

Does  anyone out there know the exact placement on the door of the
>single arm  rear view mirrors????

     The easy and the best way is to pull the top panel  off the door and 
look inside where the mirror should be and you will see the  doubler plate with 
the weld nuts attached. Just back drill the holes for perfect  placement.
    I also have to say that the round mirrors were not  placed in the most 
optimal place, that is why the Corvair had the offset mirror  head and all the 
rest of GM had the center mount head. If you put a center mount  head on a 
Corvair the vent window will hit the mirror.
