just another note...the seals must be in just right and the notch in the nose 
aligned with the oil feed hole in the case propery when pressing it back into 
the case! if its off a touch or you dont have a good tool for pressing (i use 
a remade pinion shaft in my home dungeon) it may/will damage the seal. (i use 
vaseline on the o ring) also was the little ring ok on the pinion shaft? it 
aint fun to do that job twice...or even once.   regards, tim  colson
