Very interesting !  This unit is obviously an orig. Scamper Camper, mfrd in Seattle for Corvairs.  Seems in remarkably good shape considering.  I've owned two over the years - not this one.  The inner structure is aluminum making for a reasonably light load, esp. for a 164 cube engine.  At the price, somebody should rescue it.  I'm available to answer questions.
