[FC] Steering Gear Lube

    There has been talk of a mixture of grease and STP mixed but for years I 
have been using the AMSOIL grease in steering gear boxes. Unfortunately The 
box has to be disassembled to properly fill the box with the grease.
    One thing you didn't mention is if the gear box had been rebuilt, has new 
seals, or overall condition.
