[FC] Left Differenial Side Bearing

I'm getting my Greenbrier ready for the trip to KY.

While checking and greasing the u-joints, I found that I had a little
lateral play in the left side bearing. I was able to remove this play by
tightening the adjusting ring three notches.  I replaced the side seal a
couple of years ago because it was leaking and it has not leaked at all
since then.

My questions is how tight is too tight for the left side bearing?
