And I thought I had an oddball in my 63 Brier, has the speedo in it, but
the mounts for the late car suspension......
That would explain it!

i thought he was talking late cars....yup all fcs have the same rear 
axlebearings.  but the 65 differential is a different animal, late car case
with a 
speedo gear and plug in axles. i think thomas has  posted pictures of the
one i
