[FC] rear wheel bearings

By the time that you hear the noise, the damage has been done. You might get
lucky and be able to save them, but like anything that has been damaged, they
certainly will not be as good as new. Personally, I wouldn't consider putting
my life on the line by using damaged wheel bearings. It just isn't worth the
cost of a new bearing. If the bearing fails, the possibility of an accident is
definitely there. Paul in CT

Subject: [FC] rear wheel bearings
Hi gang,
Once the rear wheel bearings start to make noise, is there any hope of
recovery with a cleaning and re-greasing? Or am I just wishing?
thanks,
Charles
